Diamond Mountain District

The Diamond Mountain District has a special microclimate influenced by its hillside topography and valley temperature inversions, creating a moderate temperate regime during the growing season with lower maximum temperatures and higher minimum temperatures compared to the Napa Valley floor. It is slightly warmer than the Spring Mountain District to the south, cooler than the Napa Valley floor to the northeast and north, and benefits from marine breezes while remaining frost-free due to higher elevations
